The last stop of this trip was Dubrovnik. I wanted to visit Dubrovnik because it was also part of Game of Thrones, it was where most of the King’s Landing filming was done. While Dubrovnik was great, I think the amount of time we had there was more than needed, if going mainly for those sites.

We stayed at the Royal Neptun Hotel, which was the most traditional hotel we stayed in. The hotel was about a 10 minute cab ride to the city center, however it cost about 20euros each way. The hotel was great as it had dining on site, pools, ocean, a gym, and even a spa we were able to get massages at. The downside I would say was the distance from the city center. A car could have been rented but I prefer not to drive in Europe with the small side streets.

In Dubrovnik, we visited all the GoT sites we could as well as seeing what the city center had to offer, such as many restaurants and shops. A whole day can be spent there as well as walking along the city walls. Just outside of the walls were more restaurants and places to have picnics or just watch the sun go down.

Besides visting Dubrovnik, we did a day tour to Montenegro, in which we were able to explore Kotor and see our Lady of the Rocks. The tour was great, as we had free time to see Kotor, take a boat ride to the Lady of the Rocks, and then head to Perast by boat and explore there as well. Seeing Montenegro for a small tour, made me want to visit again for a longer time.
